Important loading rules
Plan for the material—not only the volume
Heavy materials can reach weight limits before a container looks full. These requirements protect the customer, equipment, roadways, and crew.
Concrete is half-full only
Approved concrete loads may fill no more than half of the container.
Dirt and concrete stop at 20 yards
The 20-yard dumpster is the largest container offered for approved dirt or concrete loads.
Six-ton safety threshold
A container estimated to weigh more than six tons may be refused for safety.
Confirm materials before loading
GLWD must approve the debris type. Do not load an unapproved or prohibited material into the container.
Know the complete cost
Additional fees and extensions
Fuel surcharge is based on the approved mileage zones and applies again when a container is dumped and returned. Applicable tax is calculated during the confirmed order.

Keeping the container longer than two weeks? The original $100 deposit becomes the first extension fee, and a new $100 refundable deposit is collected for the next rental period.
