Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 1, 2026

G.L. Williams & Daughter Trucking, Inc. (“GLWD,” “we,” or “us”) uses this website to share information about our services and receive customer requests. This policy explains what information the website collects, how we use it, and how to contact us about it.

Information you provide

When you submit a request through the website, we collect the contact details and service information you enter. This may include your name, phone number, email address, preferred contact method, delivery or service address, requested product or service, quantity, requested date, placement instructions, and other notes. A website request is an inquiry, not a confirmed order or payment.

If you contact us by email or phone, we also receive the information you choose to share in that communication.

Employment applications

The Careers page links to driver and general employment applications provided through Jotform. If you use one of those forms, Jotform receives the information you enter, which may include contact details, employment history, qualifications, and driver-specific information. We use applications to review candidates and communicate about employment opportunities. Review any notices displayed on the application before submitting it.

How we use information

We use request information to review your needs, calculate delivery distance where applicable, respond to you, prepare a quote or service follow-up, and operate and protect the website. We may also use website usage information to understand how visitors find and use the site and to improve it.

Delivery distance and Google Routes

For requests that include a delivery or service address, the website sends the address to Google’s Routes API to calculate driving distance. The resulting mileage is included with the request so our team can review delivery details. Google’s Privacy Policy describes Google’s handling of information.

Website analytics and cookies

On the live website, we use Google Analytics to measure website traffic and usage. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers and collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, device or browser information, and interactions with the site. Google’s information about Google Analytics data collection provides more detail. Your browser settings may let you limit or delete cookies.

Where request information goes

The website saves submitted requests in our WordPress administration area, hosted by Hostinger. It also emails a request notification to our sales inbox using Resend. The notification includes the contact and service details needed to follow up. These providers process information to host the site and deliver the notification. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the website and our business.

We do not collect card payment information through the current website request form. If a later checkout or payment feature is added, we will review and update this policy before launch.

How long we keep information

We do not currently apply a fixed deletion schedule to website requests and related sales emails. They remain in our records until staff deletes them, unless we need to keep particular records for business or legal reasons. You can contact us about a deletion request using the email address below.
